Vivienne Westwood and 24Bottles: Gaia Clima Bottle London launch party
Vivienne Westwood and 24Bottles released special edition Gaia Clima Bottle with a great London launch party!
24Bottles and Vivienne Westwood
Vivienne Westwood and 24Bottles have teamed up to create an array of bottles designed to raise awareness of the effects of climate change and the future of our planet.
The world-famous British designer has always been outspoken about environmental issues.

The latest addition to the collaboration is the brand-new special edition re-usable Gaia Clima Bottle, inspired by James Lovelock’s Gaia Theory, which postulates that the Earth functions as a self-regulating system.
The Gaia Clima Bottle London launch party
We launched Gaia Clima Bottle on the 21st March 2019 with a revolutionary London event, ahead of World Water Day, a date used to advocate for the sustainable management of freshwater resources, from sewage entering drinking water to the endless plastic waste pouring into river systems around the world.
The Gaia Clima Bottle London launch event took place at both female and male Vivienne Westwood’s Conduit St. stores, in the exclusive Mayfair.
Some cutting-edge and interactive art installations, displaying billboards, catchphrases and books were spread throughout the stores to raise awareness of the effects of climate change.
Guests could actually interact with the installations, reading books, waving around billboards as if in a demonstration, but within the comfort of a high-end boutique while sipping some zero waste cocktails with 24Bottles’ reusable, stainless steel Party Cups.
Q&A session and freehand engravings
Wondering what were the most loved features during the event?
Literally, dozens of people lined up for over two hours to get a freehand engraving by the artist-engraver Simone Cervellati on their brand-new Gaia Clima Bottle.
Another highlight of the event was the Q&A session with Emma Breschi and OneLessBottle founders.
The gracious host of the get-together, Filipino-Italian model, activist and photographer, Emma Breschi talked with her guests about the impact that plastic pollution is having on the ocean, wildlife and our lives, thus making a personal pledge to stop using single-use plastic water bottles and instead, use a refillable bottle.
