From all the places you’ve ever been to, which is your favourite?
I could not say! I have liked many places on my trips! Maybe if I had to choose, I would go to somewhere near my homeland, the Ribeira Sacra or the Illas Atlánticas are great places to go on a trip and enjoy nature.

What is the meaning of sustainable tourism for you?
Sustainable tourism is the one that leaves the least footprint in the place through which it passes. It is impossible not to leave a mark because, in the end, you are in that territory, and you have to touch or step on it. But trying to make sure the environment does not know that you have passed through it is the best.

Everybody can make a difference. Which green habits do you adopt during your travels to be a green tourist?
If I can take part of my food in reusable containers, that’s the first thing. Trying always to carry everything in packages to reuse, bring bags to collect any waste and not forget anything is what we all must do. No plastics, of course!

Which is your favourite 24Bottles and why did you choose it?
I think my new favourite is the Sport Tumbler! Anyway, I typically use the Tuxedo Black Clima Bottle for trips, I fill it with cold water, and that’s enough for me. In the office, I use the Urban Bottle (I have two) so I don’t have to use plastic bottles.

From all the places you’ve ever been to, which is your favourite?
The sea – living on the ocean and so close to nature makes you realise how extraordinary our world is – no matter where we are, as long as we are close to water, we are home!

What is the meaning of sustainable tourism for you?
Sustainable tourism starts with each and every one of us! For us, it means appreciating and enhancing the local culture and local products. For example: don’t eat sushi in the Alps, eat locally and don’t go skiing on a man-made slope in the desert. And the same goes with restaurants and hotels: don’t cook dishes with imported goods from the other side of the world, source locally, and prefer traditional dishes.

Living so close to the water makes you appreciate it much more! Our water consumption has dropped drastically. We don’t let the tap run, and our showers are short. Secondly, the products we use for washing, laundry, and showering are reef and fish-friendly, natural products that don’t harm the environment. Our third and most significant change was buying sustainable – no single-use plastics. We bring our own bags for fruits and vegetables and try to reduce waste as much as possible.

Our Ice White Urban Bottle is our favourite – for more than 4 years, it has accompanied us, and it still works as well as on the first day!

From all the places you’ve ever been to, which is your favourite?
The place in my heart is Northern Ireland! Precisely the area of County Antrim. There, you can savour the beauty of nature and get lost in the green meadows, blue sky, which is always erratic. There are lovely hidden corners. Along the way, you often see nothing for miles except stone houses and flocks of sheep.

What is the meaning of sustainable tourism for you?
For me, sustainable tourism is the possibility and the will to experience 100% nature and what it offers us. It means experiencing an uncontaminated, genuine and authentic place. This allows you to find your own balance, fully attuned to nature.
Sustainable tourism, for me, also consists in staying in eco-friendly facilities managed by the locals. Optimized consumption or different use of resources is often a plus; it can be an experience within the experience! It is based on the principle of respect and responsibility.

Everybody can make a difference. Which green habits do you adopt during your travels to be a green tourist?
Surely the best way to be green is to know the authentic local culture, choose typical products, move on foot or by bike. But above all, I strongly believe in using as much as possible tools and equipment that can respect the environment, or that can be comfortable and reusable whenever you want!

Which is your favourite 24Bottles and why did you choose it?
My favourite 24Bottles is mine! Strictly orange, a colour that releases joy and cheerfulness, goes very well with the photos I take in my exploratory tours. I really wanted a comfortable and versatile bottle, and I finally received it as a gift from my brothers for my birthday a few years ago! It is my favourite because I am fond of it, it has accompanied me everywhere, and it is still as beautiful as it has just been unpacked!

From all the places you’ve ever been to, which is your favourite?
I have travelled both in Italy and abroad. However, my favourite place is a tiny village in the mountains above Lake Como. There is a big rock there, from which you can see the whole lake, with mountains all around. The sunset there is simply fantastic.

What is the meaning of sustainable tourism for you?
Sustainable tourism for me means travelling with consciousness, harmony and respect for the place you are. It means travelling “slow”, with openness to local cultures and traditions.

Everybody can make a difference. Which green habits do you adopt during your travels to be a green tourist?
I always carry a water bottle with me when I travel, even if the destination is close. I always try to get around by foot, bike or public transport. The most important thing is to learn to respect the environment around us by leaving it as we found it.

Which is your favourite 24Bottles and why did you choose it?
My favourite 24Bottles is the Coral Pulse Sport Bottle; I love its colours!
Plus, it’s the perfect size for my backpack and being very lightweight, it’s comfortable to take with me everywhere. I chose it with the Sport lid, which allows me to drink with one hand.
